FourEver for iOS
Effective date: 29 July 2026
Short Summary
FourEver is an interval timer for iPhone. FourEver does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create in the app stays strictly on your device.
What FourEver Stores
FourEver saves the following on your device only:
- Your timers — names, intervals, rounds, sets, and phase durations.
- Your workout history — completed and partial sessions, with the date, duration, and number of rounds.
- Your preferences — sounds, cues, theme, and settings.
This data is kept in the app's private storage on your iPhone. It is never uploaded anywhere, and there is no account required to sign in.
If you have iPhone backups enabled, this data may be included in your own iCloud or computer backup, in the same way as data from any other app. Those backups belong to you and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
No Analytics, No Tracking & No Ads
FourEver includes:
- Zero third-party analytics code or SDKs
- Zero advertising networks
- Zero cross-app or cross-site tracking
- Zero location tracking
The developer does not know when you use the app, which timers you create, or how often you train.
Network Access
FourEver is built to work entirely offline. It makes no network calls during normal use.
The only network activity occurs if you tap a link that opens an external web page in Safari (such as this Privacy Policy or the Support page).
Audio, Notifications & System Features
FourEver uses system capabilities provided by iOS to support your workout:
- Background Audio — to keep timing precise and play interval sound cues while your screen is locked.
- Live Activities & Dynamic Island — to display remaining workout time and set progress on your Lock Screen.
- Speech Synthesis (AVSpeechSynthesizer) — to speak phase names aloud on your device.
- Haptics — to trigger tactile cues at interval transitions.
None of these features record audio, access your microphone, or transmit data off your device.
Customer Support & Feature Requests
Support is handled directly by email. If you choose to contact support, your email address, message, and any diagnostic details you choose to include will be received by the developer.
The Contact Support and Suggest a Feature buttons in Settings open a new message in your email app, pre-filled with:
- The FourEver version you are running
- Your iOS version
- Your device model identifier (e.g.,
iPhone17,1)
This information is included so bug reports can be acted on effectively. Nothing is sent until you manually choose to send it. Messages arrive at fourever.support@proton.me, and support emails are used strictly to answer your inquiry.
Crash Reports from Apple
If you have turned on Share With App Developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may provide the developer with crash and performance data it has collected. This process is controlled entirely by Apple's setting, not something FourEver collects itself.
Your Data, Rights & Children
FourEver does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Because FourEver collects no personal data, there is nothing held about you to access, correct, export, or delete. Your data stays entirely under your control:
- Clear History in Settings removes your saved sessions.
- Reset Settings in Settings restores preferences to default without affecting timers or history.
- Deleting the app permanently removes all timers, history, and settings from the device.
Changes & Contact
If this policy changes, revised versions will be posted at this web address with an updated effective date.
