FourEver for Android
Effective date: 29 July 2026
Short Summary
FourEver for Android keeps your interval timers, preferences, and session history stored locally on your device. It does not require a user account or present advertisements.
1. Information stored on your device
FourEver saves training data locally using Android's private app storage:
- Timers: Phase durations, set/round counts, timer names, and custom sequence settings.
- Workout History: Session dates, completed duration, round counts, and streak records.
- App Preferences: Cues, haptics, theme preference, and start countdown options.
This information is stored on your device. We do not upload your custom timer names or workout history to remote databases.
2. Diagnostics and analytics
To help maintain reliability and improve app quality across Android device models, FourEver uses Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymized crash traces, stack logs, and device state when an error occurs so bugs can be resolved.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring & Analytics: Collects basic app startup times, performance metrics, and general feature engagement events.
We use this information for:
- Providing and retaining your timers, settings, and session history on your device.
- Understanding aggregate feature use and improving the app.
- Diagnosing, prioritizing, and fixing crashes and technical problems.
- Responding to support requests and considering feature suggestions you send us.
We deliberately do not send timer names or other user-entered text to our Firebase analytics events.
3. Sharing and service providers
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics as service providers. Their handling of information is governed by Google's policies, including the Firebase Privacy and Security information and Google Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal information. FourEver does not contain advertising SDKs.
4. Notifications and device permissions
FourEver may request notification permission so it can display an ongoing workout notification while a timer is active. This permission is used only for the timer experience and does not give us access to your personal notifications or their contents.
5. Data retention and deletion
You can delete timers and session-history entries inside the app. Uninstalling FourEver removes the app's locally stored data from your device. Aggregated analytics and crash information may be retained by Firebase according to Google's retention practices.
Support and feature-request emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and support or improve FourEver.
6. Children
FourEver is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The current version will always be available at this page, with the updated date shown above.
